Recently, Chongqing Chuke Intelligent Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chuke Intelligent") successfully delivered its customized MPD03 automatic nameplate pneumatic dot matrix marking solution to a state-owned railway company in a Russian-speaking country. The project, using two automated marking machines and one operator, achieves a daily production of 2,000 railway equipment nameplates, replacing the traditional solution's eight machines and eight workers. Leveraging core technologies such as compatibility with minority language fonts, fully automated loading and unloading, and high-precision dynamic code generation, the solution successfully overcame the stringent nameplate marking standards of overseas railways, demonstrating the customization capabilities and global service capabilities of domestically produced dot matrix marking equipment.

Railway equipment nameplates are the core carrier for the traceability management of rail transit assets. This state-owned railway company has extremely high standards for nameplate marking. The project required the nameplates to simultaneously display Russian Cyrillic letters, English letters, and numerical serial numbers, and integrate QR codes and Data Matrix codes. All characters must strictly adhere to the mandatory Pr3 (Пр3) font standard of the Russian railway industry. This standard covers the entire character and numeric system of Russian, Latin, and Greek, with strict requirements on character roundness and proportions at the drawing level. Combined with a stable daily production target of 2000 units, this presents a double challenge to the construction of the labeling production line.
During the solution selection phase, the client initially assessed that the traditional desktop marking solution would require 8 machines and 8 operators working in parallel. The manual loading and unloading method not only occupies a large amount of factory space but is also prone to problems such as duplicate numbers, misaligned characters, and inconsistent marking depth. Variations in operator skill levels also cause production fluctuations, resulting in high overall operating costs. After comparing various technologies, the client ultimately chose Chuke Intelligent's customized fully automated nameplate marking solution, purchasing two MPD03 desktop pneumatic dot matrix nameplate marking machines in a single transaction.

Addressing the client's core technical requirements, Chuke Intelligent completed customized development from three dimensions: control system, mechanical structure, and automation process. The equipment is equipped with a Thorx-9 VGA control system, supporting external large-screen monitors and keyboards/mice, replicating the computer-based operating logic and conforming to the operating habits of experienced engineers on-site. The system has a built-in complete Pr3 standard font library, achieving native compatibility with multilingual characters, and the output fonts have been verified by the customer to fully comply with industry standards. The system supports automatic serial number coding; the QR code and Data Matrix code for each nameplate are dynamically generated before marking. Actual testing shows that the QR codes consistently meet Class A standards, with a 100% success rate in scanning, fully meeting the traceability requirements of railway equipment throughout its entire lifecycle.
The automated loading and unloading mechanism is key to the cost reduction and efficiency improvement of this solution. Chuke Intelligent precision-machined and customized the loading chute and limiting rails based on the customer's nameplate dimensions. After 48 hours of continuous operation testing, it ensures no jamming during extended operation. The equipment adopts a dual-cylinder collaborative positioning structure, simultaneously completing the nameplate's planar positioning and height constraint, achieving a repeatability accuracy of ±0.01mm. Equipped with tungsten carbide marking needles, this system enables stable marking on stainless steel nameplates at depths of 0.3–0.6 mm. Standardized air pressure parameters ensure high uniformity in character line width, marking depth, and visual effect during mass production, eliminating reliance on operator experience.

The entire solution is simple to deploy and has a low maintenance threshold. Production line operators only need to periodically replenish blank nameplates and collect finished products. Once the template is set once, the equipment operates automatically in a cyclical production cycle, requiring no continuous manual intervention. Compared to traditional solutions, the project significantly reduces manpower, factory space, and unit production costs, stably achieving a daily output target of 2000 nameplates.
As a local company with many years of experience in the dot matrix marking field, Chuke Intelligent boasts extensive experience in domestic and international project implementation. Its solutions cover numerous industries, including rail transportation, automotive manufacturing, aerospace, and general machinery, and its products are deployed in over 200 countries and regions worldwide. Leveraging its strong non-standard customization capabilities, the company can develop automated marking systems tailored to customer language specifications, production capacity targets, and workpiece specifications. Meanwhile, the company has built a complete self-developed manufacturing chain, with an annual production capacity of over 50,000 marking needles. The complete machines are equipped with multiple international certifications, including CE, ISO, and RoHS, and over 80 patents continuously safeguard product performance.

The successful implementation of this overseas state-owned railway project marks another significant milestone for Chuke Intelligent's rail transit marking solutions in the international market. In the future, Chuke Intelligent will continue to refine its intelligent marking automation technology and continuously improve customized solutions for multilingual, high-standard, and high-volume scenarios, providing stable and reliable permanent marking solutions for the global manufacturing industry.
