Recently, Chongqing Chuke Intelligent Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chuke Intelligent") successfully delivered three sets of customized desktop fiber laser marking machines, specifically designed for low-speed production lines with side-mounted online marking capabilities. The equipment has been successfully implemented by a leading Chongqing-based company in the fields of micro-motors, electrical components, and automotive parts, solving the customer's production pain points such as frequent downtime and high equipment wear in traditional marking methods.

The customer's products are exported to more than ten countries, including the United States, Germany, South Korea, Russia, and Brazil. During mass production, all motors and electrical components require permanent marking. Previously, the workshop used handheld laser marking machines, requiring the entire conveyor belt to be paused for each marking operation. Repeated start-ups and shutdowns of the production line continuously increased the load on the drive motors and control systems, leading to overheating, premature aging of components, and high maintenance costs.
To address the client's specific on-site conditions and usage habits, the Chuke Intelligent Technology team tailored a solution. Initially, the team recommended an online marking solution using a flight support structure for higher space utilization. However, considering the client's preference for computer-controlled traditional models, the final configuration was determined to be a "desktop fiber laser marking machine + side-marking mode."


The biggest technical challenge on-site was the fixed installation on both sides of the production line, making it impossible to move the entire machine for focusing. Chuke Intelligent added a manually adjustable X-Y axis worktable to the base of the machine's column. When switching product batches, operators only need to fine-tune the worktable to complete laser focusing and positioning, without moving the entire machine. The entire system supports dynamic side marking on products on a low-speed conveyor belt, without requiring any downtime, truly achieving continuous production line operation.

Currently, three machines have been deployed on three production lines in a single client workshop and are in the testing and verification phase. Operational results show that the new equipment completely eliminates the start-up and shutdown issues of the production line, extending the lifespan of core equipment such as conveyor belts and drive motors, and eliminating downtime losses associated with the marking process. Clear component identification and permanent, uniform markings significantly improve production efficiency.
